Accepted Answer

The security deposit is refunded immediately after the car is returned, subject to fastag and traffic violation verification.

Do you rent cars in Pune with a driver?

Accepted Answer

No. Sahyadri Rides is a self drive car rental service only, so there is no driver or chauffeur charge and the rates are lower than a rental with a driver. For a car with a driver in Pune, use a taxi or chauffeur service instead.

Question 8

Which is the cheapest car on rent in Pune?

Accepted Answer

The cheapest cars to rent in Pune are compact hatchbacks such as the Maruti Swift, Suzuki Baleno and Tata Glanza, which suit one or two people on city trips. Live per-day rates for every car are listed on our fleet page, and 7 seaters such as the Ertiga or Carens cost more because they seat more people.

Question 9

How much does car rental cost per day in Pune?

Accepted Answer

Per-day self drive rental in Pune depends on the car model, rental duration and the daily distance limit. Weekly and monthly rentals give a lower effective daily rate (up to 70% off on monthly), and fuel is not included. Exact rates for each car are shown on the fleet and pricing pages.

Question 10

Can I rent a car in Pune for just one day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The minimum booking duration is 24 hours, so a one day car rental in Pune is the standard booking. Two day and single day bookings are fine, and you only need to tell us your pickup date, time and locality.

Question 11

Do you offer hourly car rental in Pune?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Hourly rentals are possible for short trips within Pune, and keeping the car beyond your booking slot is charged on an hourly basis using extra hours plus extra kilometres, so an early return is never billed at a full day.

Question 12

Can I rent a car in Pune on a monthly basis?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Monthly and long-term rentals are our best value at up to 70% cheaper than daily bookings, and are ideal for a work assignment, house hunting or a long outstation rotation in Pune. The same deposit and licence rules apply.
